Using the same knowledge and principles that are used to set up a band saw, a programmer can effectively generate programs for the machine from the shop floor. PieceMaker is a good solution for shops just getting into automated systems, because you are able to program using the information on paper prints; no shop processes need to change for the machine to be fully utilized. Also, the quick and easy programming makes lost parts or change orders quick and simple.

Direct Import Out of SDS2

Utilizing SDS2’s toolbox developed EMI exporter, leverage your detailer’s hard work to its fullest potential. The direct import process from SDS2 offers the industry’s fastest solution for nesting and programming a full handrail assembly. With a few clicks of your mouse, you can go from the SDS2 .XML file to .CNC files for each material type in each rail, and the .PDF report of which parts will be cut out of each stick as well as the order.

Program From the Office or the Floor

Every EMI machine includes an edition of our PieceMaker Pro software. This software package allows the customer to program the machine either from the machine itself, or  from the computers in the office. This means as the workload in the shops ebbs and flows, you can reallocate the software programming to other areas of the business.

Developed and Supported by EMI

PieceMaker is an EMI licensed and distributed product. That means we not only are the experts in supporting our customers running PieceMaker in the field, but we also can generate the solutions to the hardest problems our customers face. This has resulted in features like bend-notch, our self-fixturing super joint, or our auto-spacing picket calculator.

Software Updates

Because PieceMaker is an internally-developed software, its innovation is never stagnant. We continue to develop new features, improve the user interface, and increase the quality of our software.  Because of this, each new machine we sell comes with 1 full year of software updates included. We also offer an annual remote tech support package that includes software updates plus tech support in one affordable package.
